Will we need the president?

Short answer: NO

The presidency is inherently an ego-driven role, which can lead to narcissistic destructive behavior.

Under servicecracy, there are organizations, such as the "high", and the "low" chamber that decide how things are managed for the region of the world they live and represent, they focus on what is needed, what may have priority to do, build or fix, always thinking on the benefit for all beings living in that region.  

"Beings", are all living creatures, not only humans. because we have the responsibility to cooperate for the well being of all creatures.

The election of the persons for the chambers might be similar to what we have today(2026). The difference is that it is based on the understanding of the responsibility involved in making decisions for all the beings on their area. There is no money to be earned; they are loving and compassionate beings having the honor of making decisions for others.

Who will communicate decisions to the public, representing what each chamber has agreed?, it will be a rolling role for each chamber member.

 Will we need patents?

Short answer: NO

Patents are restrictive by design; they promote monopolies and slow innovation, they limit access to creating things, even when it benefits humanity. 

Under servicecracy, all knowledge is shared freely. It is an honor to provide knowledge on how to create new things that serve humanity. 

These beings love creating things that benefit others.  They feel highly honored because they have the ability to create something beneficial to others. They also feel a strong responsibility to share their knowledge, kindly and respectfully, and teach it to others. 

Will we need currencies?

Short answer: NO

Currencies generate inequality, poverty, human security problems, and empowerment.

Under servicecracy, everyone has their needs covered without needing any money. People will go to the supermarket or any other place that distribute goods, and they will take what they need, no more. Everything will always be available, there is no need for accumulation.

People working in distribution centers/markets love helping others to get what they need.

When you get what you need, you don't need any money, money will become something that was useful in past dark ages.
